Lashaunda Morris is a hardworking young woman, teen mother, and a strong individual who has endured different life situations.  She grew up on the Navajo Reservation and in Gallup, NM.  She spent a few years in a Native American boarding school.  Her family support system and her determination helped her be successful in getting her diploma and a certificate in early childhood development. Her experiences have given her insights about the hardships that young people face in today’s society.  She understands the importance of getting an education and not giving up.  She understands the importance of family and a strong support system.  Her passion is to help young adults and to be part of their support systems.
